What have you "written" on your G-7800?

I guess people usually "write" their name or nick on their watches, but maybe I'm wrong.

I think I was also the one who wrote Sjor's name on his - just before I sent it to him with no note saying where it had come from. If you changed to the second display, it showed my name.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

I love those... I hate to tell you this, but I think your Rolex is fake. ... I didn't remember the "roughly"... that's AWESOME!

I have written my name on it. I'm thinking about changing it soon, but to what? I'm still thinking!

This is a pretty interesting model but I have never seen one before! The black one looks sick and I'd probably get one if I see one in stores... Is it rare?

Also wondering how you guys place a name?

After searching for the different models... I liked the G7800 B1 and G7800 L1 cause of the strap lol

Re: What have you "written" on your G-7800?

It's discontinued, at least in Europe. If you find a black one for a good price, dont wait - I saw a few around here recently, but they're sold out now. And if you regret buying a black one, chances should be reasonably good for selling it.

To place a name, or any text, swap the upper line to one of the custem memos, hold down "adjust" for a few secs, and the first character will start flashing. Use "up" and "down" to scroll through a list of carachters/numbers. When the one you want is present, use mode to advanced to the next character. I hink there's room for 14 or 16 characters.

There's two custom memos, which can be swapped out instantly. I have one of mine set for "remember" (in my native language, of course) - this way I can quickly enable a "red-string-on-my-finger-type-reminder". Could also be seen as a DW-5600C tribute . Might seem a bit old school compared to a cellphone/smartphone - but I believe it's a good idea to challange the brain-based memory a bit
