What if Casio....decide Two Men Standing

What if Casio decide Master G line condense to two men standing introducing:

New Frogman (Gulfrogman) = Gulfman + Frogman
with back with Ti case & screws, moonphase, tide graph, deep dive, dive data, screw back...

New Mudman (Risemudman) = Riseman + Mudman
with carbon fiber, first ABC G-Shock, mud seal, temperture, screw back....

Would you support or against this decision?
Do you see Casio making such dramatic move?
Is 4 models better than 2? From company stand point on marketing, selling. Is it a good direction?

At least about an ABCT G-Shock, I don't think that idea would ever fly. Why would Casio put a G to compete with the Protreks?

Good point. I didn't think of that.

That is an interesting thought. There are overlaps in terms of some of the functions between the the Gulf/Frog (aquatic features) and Rise/Mud (terrain features) pairs. They could easily merge the two pair of Master G's...kind of as if the the watches had children, haha.

    From a company standpoint?
Why would they slash their Master G product line in half? At the rate their going with new models these days, they'll probably add 2 new master gs

To be honest I think it's a shame that Casio ever did away with the titanium case on the Frogman. The lightness and inherent rust resistance of that material makes it the natural choice for a large-bodied diving watch imo.

Of course if you're Casio it's a winning move as you can diversify your range and give the Gulfman a unique selling point, but if you're a customer then it just means you don't have the chance to buy a modern (solar-atomic) Frogman with a titanium case.

    Shame? It's a friggin' crime!
One of the best features of the Frog was exactly the Ti case, the first thing that made me look after one some three or four years ago. After getting a 1000 I'm probably done with Frogs, UNLESS Casio gets back to Ti Frogs. The really went backwards switching to SS, DLC or not .
    Cheers!
