I don't wear any other brand of digital watch. I do have a few Seiko automatics and Citizen eco-drives, but nothing digital from either manufacturer.

Edit: Scratch that. I do have a Nike Oregon digital watch, although I never wear it. The alarm wasn't loud enough for the days when I need to wear a digital watch.

Same here. I used to have a Time IronMan but I kept having problems with the band crapping out on me, about once a year . So when I got my first G that's pretty much been it for me.

i always own 1 Timex Ironman as my running watch

IMO, Ironman is just miles ahead of G-Shocks as a running watch (lap count/time, different countdown timer modes, top mounted buttons, night mode, weight, etc)

but for any time other than running, i always picked my G-Shocks over Ironman

Same here - no other digitals but Casio. have some automatics (Seiko) and some vintage handwinds.

@ buzzbait - I had read some guy's review of the Nike Oregon trail watch on another site and he said the alarm was one of the loudest of the three he tested (the other two watches were a Suunto (Vector maybe) and I think a Protrek). Interesting - he could have been biased though! The alarms on my Casios serve my purposes just fine!

Timex. I own two Timex Flix, two Timex Ironman, one Timex Databank and my personal favorite, the new Timex Shock Resistant 200m.

For the most part, packed with useful features and a much better display then on most G-Shocks.
    Best regards,

Lots of LED's, but they die out on you too easy, so now I prefer my 5600's!.

Maybe I got a lemon or something. My Nike Oregon's alarm is about half the volume of my worst G-Shock. Totally useless in all but the most silent environments. It's too bad. I really like the look of the watch.

    Casio Databank DB-31 Telememo 30

I was also wore a stainless steel Citizen about 13 years ago, but I dropped it, and it stopped working. O|
