Off Topic post What watch for a class reunion?

I will be attending a class reunion and will be meeting old pals I haven't met for more than a decade. I have no idea what everyone has been up to.

Dress code is casual/smart. Buffet dinner of various cuisines. Choice of beverage will be beer, though I know someone will probably smuggle some hard liquor and get wasted.

    Which watch should I wear?

I voted for the Panerai. A very nice watch for the occasion and what you are wearing

IWC, especially if on bracelet rather than rubber.

It's not an opportunity to buy a new one. It's a choice I have to make between the watches I already have. I thought of wearing the Froggie since I'm already switching between the others on my regular workdays and only got to wear my G's on weekends. Thought it's nice casual watch to feel comfortable with jeans but my wife is protesting against it considering the occasion.

Now I'm contemplating even the BR-02...

    I don't have a 177, but I do have a 111, and that's what I would go with.

Or get a g shock that was released in the year you graduated.
For me, it would be an '88 model (high school). Just a thought. Or just wear
    the 1000.
