Picture What is your "G that got away"...

Ok, so I buy, trade and sell a lot of G's in and out of the collection.

I bet many of you do. (Well Sjors never lets one leave! )...

So what is your "one that got away?"

In other words have you ever sold or traded one you wish you hadnt...

Here is mine. I have no idea why I got rid of it. I wish I had it back. It was unique, and I have never seen another.

and on the very cool stock strap...

Oh well, I guess something else had my eye! What about you...

    Perish the thought, Jeff!

I've never sold or traded a G-Shock. I've lost on some eBay auctions, though.

And you, my friend, have to take a look here:

I haven't parted with many, and don't actually regret selling (or giving away) any of them. This DW-003TL is probably the nearest, as I sold it because it just didn't look right on me. I would love to have kept it because it's a really nice G-Shock with a lot of character, but it would have spent it's life in my watch case. I'm not really a 'collector', so it doesn't make sense to me to keep watches I won't wear. The exception is a spare pair of FIFA watches I've put aside, but that really is an exception.

Oh I know.. But there is always that "other stuff"...

New tires on the truck... Compact Crank set for these old legs... 4.00+ gas... Scuba gear for our trip... The trip... on and on and on.

Oh, and my beautiful bride jsut called to say she bought an antique pew for our hall way. Something we have been looking at for a long time... but... argh........

It went to a fellow forumer, so it's all good. I'm not lusting for any new G-Shocks at the moment. I keep drooling over Pathfinders, and I quite like the DW5025, but I think I'm good... for now.
