A dual stopwatch is a single device that can time two events simultaneously.

STW1 and STW2 in the same watch.

Two stopwatches that function independent of one another. You can time two things with the same watch. Like having two in one.

Some Mudmans and the new G-7900 have this feature.

module 3134 on paw1500 has that capacity. Example:

Two Finishes, in the stopwatch mode:

Press A...start^^^Press C (Split: First runner finishes.Display time of first runner^^^Press A (Stop: Second runner finishes)^^^Press C (Split release:Display time of second runner^^^Press C (Clear)

Do try it on your PAW1500GB-1V. Fun

The "split time" function on one stopwatch is cool, but it is not the same thing as having two completely separate, independent stopwatches like the Mudman and G-7900. With the latter, you can both start and stop them independently, i.e., time two separate events that have nothing to do with one another, even though they may coincide for some period.

    ditto on Kronos

the G9000 Mudman series is what he is referring to (dual 1000 hr Chronograph)

you have two (2) Chronograph that you can start, stop and reset independently.

    its actually quite useful IMO

stockae92 and kronos - thanks! I looked at my wife's Mudman module 3031 - and lo and behold! ST1 and ST2! That rocks! I use the stopwatch function every day and having two is awesome!! Maybe that's partly why they call it the Rally Timer?

There is some other reason they call it a rally timer. Not sure what that reason is but the non-rally, non-atomic Mudman also has two stopwatches and it's not called rally so that isn't the distinguishing factor.

Rally Mudman is the forum name given to the newest Mudy the GW9010 for its stopwatch feature. I cant really explain them but there are several setable times. If I find the module number I can look up the definition.

I use my dual stopwatch on my Mudman for training. I start my first stop watch then as quick as possible I walk 4 miles by my house. then the next time I start the second stopwatch. I allways keep the one with the best time and use the other to beat my best time, This really motivates me and without it I would forget my current best time.
