Great question Oz,
I would like to pay any price with one and only one condition: "The price of the watch would not change my life and many lifes involving with me"
An old man in the same corporation at my previous job yelled at me, when I shown him my 100 dollars watch (that was a dirt cheap for any collector): "why you bought that expensive watch!?" I answered: "What do you mean?" He replied: "I had 5 dollars watch bought at drug store, I can tell exactly time as you can"
What is your opinion? ... :-S

My opinion is whilst I don't mind spending a considerable amount on a watch if I like it enough and won't send me broke, yes, I would buy it but within financial limitsB-)
$11,500 is a lot of money and I don't think I would be keen enough to go that far. If I was a billionaire, why not
My Canadian colleague In Cairns, and he was a big man, used to love to show off his gold ROLEX which I used to hate. Not because of anything, but just hated the look of the thing..
I ended up talking him into a G-Shock and once he started, he wouldn't go back:-D The ROLEX was well within his financial limits.
Telling the time? What's that got to do with watches?Originally Posted by asuoab
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

I think what assuoab meant was a that their is no difference between a $5 watch and a $100 watch.Originally Posted by asuoab
I can agree in regards to some, but obviously not all.
I mean, you can't say a SEIKO is the same as a FROGMAN:-X
Yes.. But both the Seiko and the Frogman will tell time!!
I think this was the old mans point of his statement...

The most expensive watch that I own is a Rolex GMT in steel. It was given to me as a bonus last year by my employer.
The most expensive watch which I personally purchased is a Doxa T-Graph.
I doubt that I would spend over $2500.USD on a watch. A watch can't be measured by price alone. It is more than a time measurement device. It is a personal statement about the wearer.
[email protected]"Go ahead laddie. Buy the watch."
i will spend between 8-10k for a gold watch someday.....but only once and it would have to be a grail.
2DARK Hardwood Watch Boxes are the real deal
