What's the most sought after G-Shock currently?

I have been wondering what is the most sought after G-Shock right now including current production and discontinued models.

I'm thinking it might be the GMW-B5000TFC-1 followed by the GMWB5000TFG-9

Because they have amazing features, are the best examples of the new line of metallic G-Shocks (according to many), have a positive display, are limited edition and hard to find.

What do you guys think and why?

The thread is about trying to find out what is the most sought after G-Shock right now, the watch you mentioned is not known by many, very new and is relatively easy to find, I don't think there are more people looking for this piece than people looking for the GMW-B5000TFC-1. The question is not a personal taste question but a market question if you will, what is the piece most wanted right now in general in the market.

Well you did say 'including current production models' and the discontinued pieces are obviously going to be harder to find.

    W/E, who cares anyway...

Wow CC, his question was a bit obtuse, but he was only trying to start a conversation. F17 has a reputation of being reasonably friendly. Try to relax a bit...

The question is kinda vague, Sought after in terms of what? If we based it on popularity around the world, casio says its the dw6900, ga100 and ga110... if you are asking what other members here in f17 are lusting over, you would get different replies. I personally would like a gwt5030 and that real 18k gold square (but unless i win the lotto, those remain a dream)

Sorry but I'm not used to threads, asking for opinions, having rules

    Here's the answer anyways...

Re: What's the most sought after G-Shock currently?

How would one determine what is the most sought after? Is it by its RRP vs market price? Or is it by how many it was ever produced? Or how many is actually available on market?

I mean... The MOST sought after might be the 1983 'Team Tough' DW-5000C, only a hand full was made during the testing and most has been damaged.

Apart from that, I think there's probably the GW-T5030 (200 made), DW-5635-9 / DW-6935-4 (35 of each) and GWF-1000TM (300 made) that you barely ever see available for sale.

On another note, I have a GMW-B5000TFC looking for a new home if you're interested :)
