What's the oldest G Shock still in Casios current production?

It just struck me that one of my watches which was released nearly 8 years ago, the GW7900b, is still available on the current Casio web site in exactly the same form as first released. Are there older models still in current production without modifications to original release?

    G-7700-1 2007
    GLX-5600-1 2008

Great list, can see all for current sale apart from the GW-M850-1. Did they drop it without telling you, or can I just not see it

Re: What's the oldest G Shock still in Casios current production?

The DW-5600E came out in 1996. King of G-Shock production longevity, it seems.

I thought perhaps the GW-2310 (later becoming the GW-2310BD and GW-2310FB) might be next, but the damned myGShock Wiki does not list that model! Very weird. Might've been released in 2001/2002. Discontinued on CASIO site.

So it seems next in line is the G-9000 Mudman. That is definitely showing as a current production model.

    EDIT
: G-9000 Mudman is too late. Could be called oldest production G-Shock that was issued in the 2000's. DW-6900 takes 1995 and DW-9052 in 1996 tied with DW-5600E.

According to Wikipedia... "Casio has updated the DW-5600E module, replacing the usual 1545 module with module number 3229 (in 2010)"

But the 9052 is still available in original form, and released in 1996 - do we have a winner already?

Heh, I overlooked the DW-6900. That's noted as being released in 1995 and CASIO site shows it in the current catalog (not archive). That must be the winner, beating out the DW-5600E.

Can't think of any other 'technical' consumer item that has remained in constant production for 22 years, never mind a G Shock!

Not sure about the DW6900 being the oldest without a change. The original module was the 1289 and was updated to the 3230 module around 2011. Hasn't the DW9052 gotten any updates since its introduction?
