It's a Jam'In Color model from 2006. The complete model number is DW-6900MC-7ADR for the overseas model. The JP model (with a G in the light button) ends with -7JR.

It was easy to find one in the US about a year ago and also it was pretty popular. Sometimes it was called "The poor man's Brazilian". I have no idea if it still is easy to find one. A search on eBay might do wonders.

    Cheers,

This is my one and I know that they are still ones popping up in various places at a reasonable price. I like them, as you know that every one of them is unique in it's design, great fun, very clear display and a light that's probably one of the brightest.

Thx. I ordered my first g-shock yesterday (a Rasta), so if I like it I might pick up one of these too.

    Sjors,

When you say that the JP model (with a G in the light button), does that apply to the camo model of the 6900 or to all the 6900 models?

    Thank you

I have all four, the black/grey/white is the most distinctive.
ALL of the MC series, Japan (g on button) , USA (lines on button) ,
have Japan movements, the display is noticibly clearer and more
contrasty than the other G's. I really love all 4, the Black/purple
model is basically a "factory stealth" because the purple is very
light and the lettering is all black.

    I WANT ALL G-SHOCKS !!!, LL
