What's up with the gray tin?

I was lucky enough to finally have a watch arrive today, and it came in a box I have never seen before, and a light gray tin. I am pretty new to this, but I have never seen this tin before, in person, or in photos posted here. I like it. It looks cool. Anyone know what's up with it? 1 down, four to go.

interesting! i like getting different tins nearly as much as i like getting different watches (well, maybe not nearly, but i do like it). the hyper colors one is my favorite so far, black with the colored dots on the lid. i'm glad they started making the new hexagonal tins, i think they're very cool and they take up less space than the fat bronze ones.
