What's with the various different G logos?

I did a quick search but didn't see anything. So here is my question...

Why is it that there are a few different versions of the G-Shock "G" logo?

They are sort of chronological, but that doesn't mean you can't find all of them in different models currently available.

The most recent, though, is the one in your left photo.

(The one in the middle, seems to me, is from Baby-G or Club-G models)

I found two different "G" logos on my today's watch.

I like the second one most.

The left G does not look like a G to me, more like something is holding a machine gun.

    Hi DB,

This model is called GL-100V. Sometimes you can find them NOS on eBay, but like you wrote, rarely. That's a pity, because the model looks great and the strap is actually very comfortable (it's a fixed double Velcro type).

    Cheers,

    Sjors
