    When money is no object

    From G-Central.

    Elite TimepieceHK selling the G-Shock G-D5000-9 #1/35

    G-Shock, News

Hong Kong watch shop Elite TimepieceHK is offering the 18-karat solid gold Dream Project G-Shock G-D5000-9 for the tidy sum of HK$880,000 (about US$113,000). That’s quite the markup from the original price of about US$70,000, but then there are only 35 of these limited edition watches in existence. The watch for sale is numbered 1 out of 35, so it should be the most valuable one.

IMHO I think that they are all labeled 1 out of 35 and not serially! That would be a better marketing strategy to sell such a limited product for that money. If they are individually numbered, they would be harder to sell some serial numbers. But that is my own strategic reasoning.

I'm out because I'm no fan of the negative display.
