Where to get the all-black GW056A-1AV

I wish to purchase the GW056A-1AV (http://www.casio.com/products/Timepiece/G-Shock/GW056/), which is the all black, thin, solar-atomic g-shock.

However, all I can find on the net is the sister model (GW056A-1V) with the silver bezel? What is up? Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

Try Amazon. Looks like they have it.

    http://www.amazon.com/CASIO-G-SHOCK-.../dp/B000FPUOII

Or, had it. Says not in stock.

I just check Casio Sales and Service. Looks like the watch is in stock.

    Thanks for your replies.

I checked www.casiosalesandservice.com, but they only had the silver bezel model.

I like the all-black look. It looks like a closer cousin to my DW-5600E. For some reason, it seems to be pretty scarce, especially in USA.

I may have come across one site offering it, but they wanted the full suggested retail of price of $130; whereas the silver-bezel model can commonly be had for around $75.

Thanks for the advice, and that's a good suggestion, but at the risk of offending the g-shock-adoring readership, I find your average g-shock too bulky.

And I'm a tall, medium-build person, but I think your average g-shock looks a bit too bulky for my wrist. That's why I wanted a thin g-shock.

Plus, I think in the field, say scuba diving, rock climbing, moutain biking thru trees, etc. having such a high profile, bulky watch, I am inviting getting snagged on obstructions.

This has happened with my DW-5600E of which I am quite fond.

I picked up one of the 5600J atomic solar models last Friday at a local JCPenney. It was $75. If I pucrchased it from Japan it sells for $150.:-S I love the retro look with the latest technology.

An 056 looks like a 5600? Not really, pipes...
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...

    White Gw-056aj-7jf

    Agree with Tribe.

The 056 is a very small and thin watch whilst the 5600 is bigger.

I've never seen a 056 in the flesh, although my wife was going to get a white model No. GW-056AJ-7JF

I caught her looking on ZENON's Japanese shopping site tonight:-D http://www.rakuten.ne.jp/gold/zenon/

ZENON are great and they ship to me in Australia as I have known them since in Japan. They were my special order people

You can email them Tribe, the only point is you have to be able to communicate in Japanese and have an account

She always buys all the Japanese stuff that we can't get in CairnsO|
