    Where are the new watches?

I haven't browsed G-shocks in a while. I was also surprised to see the same old watches. No new innovations, technology, or really new styles. What happened to introducing some new changes, fresh things up a bit? We all love our G-shocks, and we also know they're fairly plain. I guess I'm looking for some radical changes, new technology and just not finding.

Some of the hyper-color GA-110s are pretty different at least color wise.

I actually called Casio USA today and asked the same question "where are the new watches" and the Casio rep said the Hyper Colors are are due out at the end of April. The new Hyper Colors are bigger in size, take for instance a DW-6900 is 53.2×50.0×16 the Hyper Colors are 55x51.2x16.9 not a big difference but bigger yet.
NFW AutoPilot, Steinhart Nav B-Uhr II 44 mm Automatic., Seiko "BFS" SNKF09. Seiko "Spork" SRP043K. Seiko SRP639KI & lots of G-Shocks.

My guess is that they are trying to hold off on the heavy artillery until the summer. For example, the new atomic Gulfman is scheduled for a June release.

Re: Where are the new watches?

There has rarely been a period when new watches have come out with the frequency they have over the last year. Technological advances happen once a decade, if that, and it would be unreasonable to expect such advances more often. Casio seems to be in particularly vigorous health, I would say.
I used to list my watches here until I realised it ruined people's Google searches...
