They could order it from Japan if they wanted to. That's what Casio UK did for me when Seamaster (I think) had bought the last one!

Casio Singapore does get them from Casio Japan too. There are at least two versions, the DW-6900/DW-00X version (I believe Casio UK calls them DW-002 wire protectore of face protectors) and DW-5600 version. It is believed that Casio JP is not to fond of providing protectors...

    Cheers,

For fear of people buying them up in bulk and re-selling them? This might play havoc with their stock control of an item that attracts very little profit, and may hardly be worth bothering with.

Casio UK, on the other hand, said I could order as many as I liked. I swallowed down the opportunity to do a little profiteering and ordered two.

Out of interest, does the protector fit the GW-5600 (ie, is the GW- in the same size case as a DW-)?

I didn't realize they were so popular

I have two I think. One from a DW-6600 and one from a DW-5000 metal band.

I pulled them off, although mine are silver..

You are welcome to them if you want
