White Gulfmaster GWN1000E-8A faded after 4h wearing

Hi all, just got the beautiful white G-shock Gulfmaster. After wearing the first time for 4h seeing edges yellowing/brown. Would have thought it was dye rubbing off from my coat sleeve but it's also on the inner part of the band. No way this is from clothing. And no its not spray tan either, haha. Any ideas or suggestions? Purchased from and eBay authorized dealer.

I've owned four or five white G-Shocks, both matte and gloss, and can report the exact same experience. Mine got discolored if I even looked at them, let alone wore them! Wasn't a big deal to me as I don't really consider the aesthetics of a watch to be one of its core functions, but on something cla$$sy like a Gulfmaster I can see how you're disappointed. If Casio wants to truthfully and accurately describe their white G-Shock models, they should really call that colorway "pre-yellow" IMHO.

Try to return to seller? Flip it while it still looks half decent and get a darker version?

I doubt it. Most likely it indeed yellowed out. That is a very common problem with white G's (and precisely why I don't buy white G Shocks).
    Example:

How fast it yellows out depends in how you use it. Obviously a daily beater will be yellow much sooner than a stored G. Sun, dirt, grime and chemicals yellow white G's.

That's why I stay away from the light colors man... I came close to buying Rangeman burton cause how beautiful that white is but, I'm scared of exactly what's happening here.

I got a frogman instead and I'm glad I did. The best G shock ever in my opinion.

Thanks all. I suspect it yellows/fades quickly but they seems really fast. I'm going to see if they will exchange but...

Congrats on your white! Enjoy the positive screen.

The blue is JDM and one of 2 Gulfmaster with a positive screen, the other is the white

Would love to see a pic of the stains - 4 hours, that's crazy.

Got my white Gulfmaster [JDM] at the end of April & have worn it every 7 to 8 days in a rotation.

Sits in the window collecting rays by day & syncing at night, when not being worn.

No yellowing ... a little grunge maybe ... at least you caused me to clean it today.

I'd be going for the return in your case.

Love those--was a choice between the white and the yellow. Just wanted a darker bezel.
