This said they were going to have these back in the summer maybee july. they will be limited but not sure about hard to find. I think they just might be hitting the system now. casio is a little behind when they say some Gs are comming out. I have the standard black and wish I got the white instead. I will be on the look out for one of these in the future very cool

Hmmm, looks like Casio are trying to get into surf models again...

...although I was hoping for non-white colours.

Cool, looks like a follow up for the DW-6900FS. I believe I have heard from it, but it's the first time I see it. Cool!

    Cheers,

What happens with these watches with a dodge tide or neap tide?

Is the tide display a bit misleading?

They don't show changes in tidal heights over time, just give a generl idea of when low and high tide is. The GW-400 and the PAW-1500 are the only ones I know which indicate changes in tidal height for neap tides etc, but that aspect isn't very accurate alas.

I have the same one, just not the us open version. I think your EL Backlight is more blue, and the standard is green. Yours is the first I've seen. Very nice.

exactly. The watch is made for surfing. If the waves are big enugh to surf, a few inches or even feet in tide variation will not be that noticeable. It is more of an estimated tide. Just nice to have.
