    Question Why is it 9 times out of 10 I end up putting a new strap on any watch I own?

    It always ends up like that. The bigger the watch the smaller the strap needs to be. It can't be equal.
    The MTG is retired and the 5600 too. Right now, the only working G-Shocks that I use and enjoy are the Riseman GW9200-1 and the GW6900-1

    If I can own a Rolex Submariner I would. I know they are tough too, their homages are tough. Trust me.

    I put this strap on my 6900 and it is way more comfortable. I still like the 6900. Even wore it when the battery was dead waiting to see if just a little sunlight will charge it.

    Yep, it is the strap that I hate the most on all the G-Shocks. I am kind a glad I bought other rubber strapped watches to see this. The bigger the watch the more tapered the watch strap has to be to be comfortable. You know what I mean if you ever seen the Rolex Submariner. Big dials with tapered straps. I bought a button compass for my 6900. Now that just says I really like it.
