    Why Brazilian?

    Hello to all,

After weeks lurking and learning from all of you about the fascinating and neverending laberynth of the G-Shock, this will be my first post. Of course, I will start with a question, one I still haven't found an answer for: Do you know why the Brazilian Frogman is called Brazilian?

    Thanks for your answers

P.S.: I am not a collector myself, but there is no watch as reliable, functional and better designed as the DW5600E I daily use.:gold

The design of the camo pattern is based on a frog from Brazil.

    Hi Vintage -

I once posted a detailed info. sheet on this.

It's named after the Brazilian Milky Frog (Phrynohyas Imitatrix), a highly poisonous frog that roams the streets of Brazil

    Re: Why Brazilian?

Thanks a lot for your answers, ColdHit and OZZIE! It's really cool. While searching for more images of that frog, I found some others that I think could become Frogmans themselves.

I know this may be off-topic, but wouldn't it be nice to have something like a Real Frog Frogman Series? :-D

    Have a nice day!

    Re: Why Brazilian?

I always thought that the name Brazilian came from the Frogman's noticeable lack of short hair. :-D

    Greetings All,
Brazilian seems to be the flavour of the month. You could buy the car to match the watch.

A new variant of the Volvo c30
