Why it doesn't hurt to ask (New G-Shock!)

I went into Nordstrom today to check out the G-Shocks (in particular to see if they have the GA-100. Sure enough enough I see a GA-100 (black model with positive digital display) sitting in the G-Shock section. What I really want is the white version so I am almost about to walk away. I decide to wait about 10 or 15 min while the clerk is helping other people and ask if they ever get the white version. She looks in the inventory and wouldn't you know they have one white GA-100 in stock! After about 10 seconds of thinking about it I decide to buy it.

The watch (IMO) is stunning in person and I LOVE how the hands set themselves as soon as I chose the correct timezone for the watch. The hands on the other Casio ani-digi I have are a real pain to set. I'm really happy with this purchase!

BTW thanks to all that posted photos of it in my other thread :).

The mirror display is very cool on these.

I agree- I think it's a really well-done effect. It doesn't effect the legibility of the digital areas that much either.

I love the subtle white grid next to all the dials.

^Great pic for a cool watch. I'm getting closer to getting to a Ana-digi.
