Just a few questions, a phone have GPS, can the synchronize the time from GPS atomic time? If is yes, can the G synchronize its time via bt from phone? If is yes as well, mean that you have a equivalent feature to a radiocontroled watch, but in any country? Is a good price 73£ with the yellow digits, black screen version?

part is the lack of compatibility with many phones, most folks carry their phone all the time and having your watch and phone tell you something came in (often at different times) can be redundant and annoying. mt PC will tell me i got an email and 2-3 minutes later the phones tells me the same email just arrived. its nice to see the innovation, but i dont see the need. can i store 500 songs on it and listen to tunes without killing the battery in an hour? slide an SD card in for storage.....etc

this watch is now the 1st thing in my whish list. But I don't have 68£ to buy it.It's too expensive for my economic situation, anyway I ask my miss if I can buy it, and she has confirmed that I cant buy the watch. Just for the look,it's better than any other digital watch for me. Only disadvantage against 5610 is the solar feature, but the BT features that you can use, its amazing for 2 years of battery, camera and music control, vibration, chrono 1000h etc etc

Ive been recently given a phablet (ios) and was seriously considering the bluetooth square because of the bulk of the new phone is uncomfortable inside my pants, but no sms alerts means i just have to buy baggier pants

I finally scored a GB-5600AA on eBay for a good price. It's lightly used, the only real sign of wear is the metal strap holder. The legibility of the STN LCD is even better than I hoped. I don't know why Casio doesn't use it on more models. Bluetooth paired on the second try on my iPhone 7 with iOS 10.3. The clock instantly syncs when connected to Bluetooth, which is one of the major reasons I wanted a BT model. There's definitely some nice functionality here, but the only thing I'd probably use is the vibe alarm for incoming calls. As far as looks go - it's a classy, classic looking square. Nice graphics on the glass and, of course, larger numbers/day/date than your standard DW5600. I also quite like the "brushed" looking case back. All in all, highly recommended!

for a week last year i owned the GB-5600B-1JF in black with white screen (black digits) and metal keeper. i think i liked the metal keeper most of all...

the combi bracelet appeared to fit fine when i test fitted it without spring bars, but as there seemed to be the usual problems of spring bar wear/tear on the resin mid case, i never did mount the bracelet in.

the vibrating alarm function was discreet, but i wasn't able to pair the watch to my phone so i never used the BT function.

the screen was very legible and the numbers are nice and large. the illumination was also pretty cool but not very even.

i sold it days later as the dial was not unique enough and i didn't like the splash of blue, but i'm now considering the yellow version for the cool brown dial.

I'm looking at getting a gb5600b, mainly so I can set accurate atomic time as required (time specific aspects to my job on the railway).

Can you set the time manually on the gb5600b if my phone doesn't work? I run a galaxy note 4. I was originally going to get an edifice but only being able to set the time via bt has me thinking otherwise.

The other function I'm looking forward to is vibration alarm, I think it would be a really nice and discreet way to wake up at 0130 for work as my wife shift works as well and when we're on opposite jobs it can be detrimental to someone's health if she or I don't sleep well (she's a neurosurgery nurse).

    Thanks
