    GB-6900B-1. The Bluetooth connection with the Samsung Galaxy J5 2016 with Android 6.0.1 has equaled. Phone, SMS and e-mail notification also work.

    Wow! How did I miss these models? Vibration!

    I have very poor hearing and cannot hear any alarms on any of my G's, even with my hearing aides in.

    The need for several alarms during the day has basically left me to depend on my GD-350 and its vibration mode for daily wear. While the 350 is a wonderful model, I do miss the classics 5600/6900 shaped G's.

    Looks like these Blue Tooth models may be just what I am looking for!

    One question if I may...... does anyone know if these BT model will work with the classic 56/69 straps and bezels. That would perfect if they did. I like to mix things up on occasion.

    Ok, thanks for the info and pics and any help!!

    For the GB5600B, the strap is compatible with DW5600E, GW5000 and few other square model's straps. It's softer and more quality than the regular DW5600E's strap, but may not be as high quality as GW5000's.

    For the GB6900B, I think it's compatible with GW6900's strap, not 100% sure though since I don't have the watch.

    The GW5000 strap is far from "high quality", more like a cheap rubber strap. The GB-5600B is a typical resin strap with a better heavier duty buckle, and a really nice strap keeper as well. If you just have to have the rubber strap, I guess you could buy the GB-5600B strap and move the better buckle and strap keeper to it. This was one my ideas to customize my GW5000, I bought an extra GB-5600B strap to try this in the future.

    Just stating some facts, not to be arguing or anything. I have a DW5600E and a GB5600B. The resin strap on the GB5600B is definitely softer than the DW5600E's. And yes, it's one of a few squares that comes with the metal keeper, very nice. I don't have a GW5000, so it's just an assumption that its resin's of higher quality due to its high price. But obviously I don't know for sure. In fact, because the GB5600B's so nice, to this day, I still can't justify the high price of the GW5000.

    @Warden504

    The band of the GW-5000 can be used on the GB-6900B.

    Here is my GB-6900B with the band of the GW-5000:

    Been thinking of this model for quite a while. I like this better than the bigger GBX6900B. Got one question, how's the strap feels in this model compare to the GW6900? For the GW6900, the strap arched too much for me. Wonder if the GB6900B's any better, so I can determine if I need to swap a 5600 strap to it.

    Exactly that is the problem with the original band. It is not so good on narrow and not round wrist joints. With the band of the GW-5000, the GB-6900B performs very well.

    Just pay attention to the band of the GW-5000.
