I am really liked GB-5600B, but afraid that will fail to pair with my phone. Has everyone successfully paired GB-5600B with Moto G (1st Gen)?

Has anyone had success in pairing any of these watches with a Nexus 6P? Thx.

In case anyone interested, Bluewatcher app is currently free for download as it has reach end of life. It should work with android 6. Only android 5 has problem. The developer gave up due to issue with android 5.

I just got a 5600B from the bay for $69, figured it was cheap enough that even if it didn't work with my phone I'm not much worse off. I'm pleased to report that it synched fine with my Nexus 5x running Android 7.

The online manual for the BT functions is pretty useless. Anyone know how often it syncs the time?

Turns out you can sync the time manually by holding down A or it does it whenever BT connects. Pretty slick, it's weird to be able to control my G from my phone. One other big benefit of these, for Android at least, you can set the G as a trusted device so it will unlock your phone when you're wearing the watch.

That's the biggest thrill for having this watch: you don't have to press any of the buttons to set your watch!

I haven't done extensive research, but from first glance, the GB5600B series is extremely underrated. Even without BT, it's a hell of a watch. It has several advantages over most regular G-Shocks, not to mention the vibe. And while it isn't atomic, the BT feature essentially gives it time sync.

I know it's not the greatest stand-alone smart watch, but I think you have to look at the BT feature as a part-time thing. Maybe use it in certain situations when you really need it. And even if you don't use it at all, you have a great looking watch with outstanding features.

I'm giving serious consideration to getting one since I love vibes & find them very useful.

Besides the BT and vibe, what are the several other advantages over other G's? I've debated getting one for a while, I probably wouldn't use the BT and I doubt it's compatible with my phone anyway, but it is available in some colors and displays that aren't seen in other squares.
