It's probably the most abused Frogman I have ever seen.

Yes, but the crystal looks fine. Wouldn't a new band and bezel make it like new?

If you take the risl of a non working light, it's a great start. Maybe the band and bezel are not as bad as it looks after a good clean up. Maybe the light is only a result of a weak battery.

    Re: Why so cheap?

the light could also be a result of a missing spring too, right? If the battery was changed, and the spring lost, I believe the buttons then are silent, as well as the EL won't work (this is only a guess).

And the bezel/band wouldn't look that bad if dyed black . For $60, hard to go wrong with a Frogman.

    Hi Topher,

You could be right about that. I have opened a Frogman one or two times. I do not exactly remember the interior.

Dying black would be a good idea if you don't like the wabi

    Re: Why so cheap?

I didn't bid...was only going to bid $50 if I did, (about all I can afford atm) so I wouldn't have won anyway. I thought it was a good deal.
