Will Casio watch sync with radio clock signal if local time zone is set to HKG or SIN?

Will Casio watch sync with radio clock signal if local time zone is set to HKG or SIN?

Or will it only sync when set to NRT/LAX/NYC?(for example)

My watch is the Pathfinder PAW1100T-7V, by the way.

    Thanks! :D

    No.

It will only receive when the Home City is set to one of the following:

    LON
    PAR
    BER
    ATH
    TYO
    SEL
    NYC
    CHI
    DEN
    LAX

If you want to try to "trick" your watch while in HKG or SIN, set the Home City to TYO and try a manual receive. You may get lucky, depending on atmospherics, and get a signal. After the signal is successfully received, reset the Home City to HKG or SIN to display the correct local time.

Sometimes it depends on the exact watch you have.

I have a couple of PAW1300 watches, one from Japan (Pro-Trek) and one from the US (Pathfinder).

The Pro-Trek will sync in HKG, but the Pathfinder won't.

    Superficially, they look the same.

You can easily try yours by setting the home city to HKG or SIN and trying to do a manual sync. If it's not a permitted city, then it won't even try to sync.
