Will the real G5600 please stand up

I am interested in the G-5600 as described on the post https://forums.watchuseek.com/f105/56...red-65908.html. However, I can't seem to find it anywhere.

I'm looking for the one with the red colored border that says "tough solar" on the bottom. Does anyone know the exact model number for this one and where I could find it? Thanks.

The one with the red accents is the older model G-5600 with 2597 module. There were quite a few issues with the solar charging on this module and it was acknowledged by Casio as well. It was replaced by the newer version with the 3160 module. The below threads will help you, and there are dozens of similar threads on this forum.

The GW-M5610 only RESEMBLES the G-5600, since both have that red stripe around the crystal.

The GW-M5610 has the alarm and charge level icons along the bottom of the screen, along with several other differences like the fact that it's solar/atomic while the G-5600 is "solar only."
