    Wood shock?!!?

I just saw this on one of my daily sites...

    http://www.uncrate.com/men/style/wat...shock-watches/

I wonder who this person is with the "massive collection"? Do we know him here? Is it Sjors? But I dont think he has a diamond covered one.

a weird novelty but at least the modules appear to be real.

Why would the WR be negated? Only the bezel is wood right? Seems like a fake to me.

Surprised they lose WR too. Unless the back is wooden also?

Odd idea but why not I guess. If it was 1st April I'd be (more) suspicious.

Maybe because the bezel would be damaged by water.

I would also feel rough against your skin. Can you imagine your watch giving you a splinter?

one good use of it that it would float instead of sink. so if you're out boating or fishing and somehow the straps broke off and it fell into the water, you can just net the watch up.

more pictures of the wood shock. Very thick piece.

    Who would by this?

I'm down for a wooden watch, but this looks kind of gross.

I don't care for it at all.

    Especially unappealing from the side.

But I do appreciate someone trying something new and trying to "carve out" a niche for himself.
