Woot! Finally an Atomic Mudman to hit US market!

I've read mixed feelings regarding the next batch of 30ths (Initial Blue). However, it seems that the US Initial Blue Mudman will be indeed atomic! One difference is that the metal keeper will have a different stamp on it. Hopefully this will be my first Atomic 9300.

*Sorry guys, wish I had the pics to back up this post!

ORLY?!?!?! Whew that'll save me sourcing it from Japan. As much as I love the metal keepers, I'm all for the carbon fiber one. Though the 30 Stars keeper is fairly epic... I still haven't taken the plastic protector off LULZ

That sure is interesting, hopefully that will make sourcing this Mudman cheaper much easier!

Regarding protecting metal keepers, then I just found this product that perhaps could be of help:

Optimum Opti-Coat 2.0 Permanent Paint Coating

That is some sort of transparent resin product that is used to protect the paint job on cars. So perhaps it can potentially be used to protect metal parts on a watch or perhaps even make some interesting mods like turning a matte finish G-Shock into a glossy one? Another potential use might be if you painted some artwork on a resin strap and bezel that this product could be used to coat it so that the watch can be worn!

This is so cool, i wonder if the Riseman will be similar. Very very good news. Thank you.

Riseman is suppose to be atomic too in the US market, though I haven't seen any confirmation like I did with the Muddie. It still has the "J" at the end of the model name which seems weird to me. I always assumed the "J" stood for Japan.

Any pics of this watch in question and will it be a negative display?
