Wore this one today while dressed nice and making presentations

I thought its super stealthyness looked pretty cool with business casual attire. I was presenting material all day as well and didn't feel self conscious.

I haven't been wearing it much because I think the legibility is pretty poor. But I have to say, its so cool maybe that makes it a keeper!

it is very cool indeed. luv the all black theme.
i wear my formal attire with my GW1500. very sharp and compatible.
just found out wearing black G is the only way to go with formal attire. bracelet G like the MTG1000 works too.

Very Cool! I feel the same about this one, I can barely see what time it is in good lighting with mine, definately the hardest negative to read from my experience, but it does have a very cool presence to it, I have a second one on the way because I removed the module from my regular 6900 and put it in the Stealth case with strap and it looks Sweet! I'll have one silver LCD and one MS total stealth. Heres a few pics with the standard movement installed inside the stealth case, I have really been liking it this way.

Experience is what you end up with when you didn't get what you wanted.

My crazy colours DW6900 pink has poor legibility as well, but heck it's cool so I don't mind the hardness of reading the time (just gotta angle it right or just pop the light on). I love negative displays!

Am split up between getting a 6900/5600/Mudman MS series... argh!

Keep it Jeff, it fits your 6900RE Blue Eye perfectly

At least for variety if nothing else

I'm not a big fan of the "dress watch" concept. Might as well go for the total antithesis

Re: Wore this one today while dressed nice and making presentations

You post just reminded me that I passed a young girl at work today and she was dressed very nice (which is unusual for her) and wearing a Timex digital. Knowing her personality, I thought it worked well.

I remember reading once that someone mentioned that many Japanese execs wear Gs with their suits. I wonder how true this is and to what extent. I know a lot of American politicians were Casios and Timex, probably in an effort to look more like the common man.

    It is formal black! LOL

Oh I do like my fancy watches... by fancy I mean my Citizens and Seikos... :).

My "Dress watch" is an awesome Hamilton chrono on leather.

I dont think most people put that much thought into it.

Sadly a watch has become a bit of a "non essential" for most these days. All the execs I work with (in Government) wear Seikos or cheap "dress watches". Most of our mid level guys wear timex or G shock.

I lead management and Leadership development courses. So I see everyone. I see an OCCASIONAL Suunto... Lots of Gs, and Timex... 3-4 Omegas, 1-2 Tag's.

But lots of our engineers just use their blackberry or cell phone.

Certianly in my org no one would judge me for wearing anything from a Timex to a Rolex... I think most people hardly notice.
