    Would like pro's and con's on a PAW 1200-1V

Appears to be a great watch, and was hoping that someone out there could give me a good rundown on the watch other than its' great appearance!

    Hi DickJ,

Purchased one of these a few weeks ago, price was right, couldn't pass it up; the watch is loaded: atomic/Solar, SW/CD, triple sensor, etc.; it is big, very big; mine is strapped to my mountian bike as a navigation tool, great watch.

Hello Brad, thanks for the feedback. Does the compass, altimeter etc. work ok? I live in Florida so the Altimeter isn't that important but, I have had earlier models of this watch and experienced some problems with some of the functions, other than the time function (before the time wave feature was added), and it was accurate to a second a month! I can buy one for about 185.00 USD. Seems like a bargain!

    Hello Brad:

Glad to hear that you're pleased with your 1200. Do you know if it's available on a bracelet instead of a strap? I'd like to buy one as a hiking/camping watch. May I ask, who did you buy yours from and what was the price? Thanks.

    hi dick,

forget about the altimeter, its a useless feature in my opinion. however - from experience with my pro-trek PRG-80 I can say the compass and the barometer are pretty precise.

    Hi guys,

all the functions work great, has loads of instructions for setting it the way you want it; there are three models:

    black PAW1200-1V,
    green PAW1200-3V,
    silver and titanium PAW1200T-7V

Got mine at JC Penny, Listed at $300usd, with store sale and coupon I had, walk away paying $180usd.

The 1200T-7v has a metal bracelet.

    Hey Mike H,

I think in time there should be a titanium bracelet version of the 1200 line-up, this was the case with the 40,50,80 etc. :)
55 watches. 30 Casios. Appalling bank balance!
