    Would you buy a frogman?

    Hi guys,

Wanted to ask your opinion if you'd be willing to spend at least $900 on the Frogman "men in burning red" or "the devil"? Which one would you get? Is it worth every penny?

    Thanks in advance!

    Regards,
    Bryant

No, I wouldn't spend at least $900 on a MIBR Frog unless it was a very rare Frogman species. If it was at least $700 then possibly but new MIBR can be had for less than $900.

You could always find a GWF-1000BS and purchase a spare MIBR resin which give you the best of both Frogs.

So far the most I spent on a frogman was about 400 dollars, but my budget increase more and more every year. Frogman already have a high MSRP, I won't pay over MSRP on a watch. Just can't stomach paying double the price becuase it limited edition. RIght now I own 2 frogmans, I plan on maybe buying a 1-2 more before the end of the year.

    Is it "worth every penny"?
Only YOU can answer that. They do have a higher standard in terms of materials then a regular G, but are they $600 better then say a 9300 Mudman? Not really. Bear in mind that most of that price is paying for the "Frog mystique". I have two and will get a 3rd in 28 days (nobody's counting, though) because I like the style and the watch per se. Though I love mine, in practical terms I honestly can't see how it's $600 better then a Mudman.

Re: Would you buy a frogman?

As previously posted, $900 for a BR is very expensive. $600 to $700 is reasonable as it isn't that difficult to get a hold of yet.

Re: Would you buy a frogman?

Well a quick look at Rakuten has the least expensive Red at $800 and some change, so the $900 is definitely too much....save that amount for something more limited like the 1000G.
