    WW-5300C-1 hitting USD1800!

    First of all the link:
    http://page9.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/k23391162

    Man that is expensive!
I was looking for a vintage dw-5600 and i found this. Even if you could afford it would you wear it? I mean it costs so much, among the other reasons, cause as it seems it's never been worn. So imagine wearing this watch and getting it juuuuuuust a little bit scratched or removing the plastic stiker from the back!.Sayonara to all all that moneyO|
This is exactly what i don't like about g-shocks. All these absurd prices are hold goood only if you never wear the watch, where instead if you buy yourself a "proper" watch for that money you won't lose all your money even if you wear it.
    What do you guys think?

P.S. I like to wear my watches and not keeping them in a display case forever!

    Confused Re: WW-5300C-1 hitting USD1800!

    Hi Ksipsi,

I like my G-Shocks becasuse how they look and wherethey stand for. If I could buy this one for scratch, I would buy it, but prices above $100,- for an old model I think is already too much. I'd rather talk and discuss here great G-Shock topics then to stare at the few rare G-Shock's for absurd pruices on an auction site that's hardly reachable if you are not Japanese.

This is the second of third money related topic in a short time. When I wear my G-Shock I don't want to worry about money. I collect them and I like them.

    Cheers,

    Sjors

The rare and hard to find factor toppled in with a well proven model makes these models very expensive and more sort after
