No freaking way! Pinch me, I must be dreaming. Can't wait to see some more shots of the 6900. This will definitely be a must have for me. Just wish it was cheaper!

    Wow...

Great...now I've got to try and get one too . Of course...I'll be waiting for the prices to fall down to reality.

edit: The real clincher is what are the features of the module...

Just to add, I was really worried about Casio making a solar/atomic 6900 and ruining the general look of this watch. Looks like they haven't so good on them.

Plus all of those new models have 24 hr countdown timers and 24 hr stopwatches in addition to the solar/atomic. That should make a lot of people happy!

Personally, I'm really tempted by the GW-5000...

same here. didn't think it was possible without making some major changes to the face. but they figured it out it seems.

I believe you are the first one to post this!

Wow!I am glad I didn't buy the GW-M5600! This news should justify the rumours of GW-M5600 being discontinued!Casio has outdone themselves!Multi-band 6 tough solar with screwback case + DLC coating on the metallic parts!Wow!Now, if only Casio would release a DLC coated SS banded version of the GW-5000!I am sure they will, it's just a matter of time!

    Cheers,

wow! That's a major surprise. The next surprise will be if it retains the module functions we know and love, namely a CDT past 60 min. The screwback GW-5000 is very nice, but the price doesn't really reflect the sum of its parts (to me anyway). I'll just drool from afar....

    I submit: I WANT ONE!
