Yet another one for my ever growing G-8000 collection ^-^

    Hi,
I know the G-8000 is not very popular, but it's one of my personal favourites - so for 17€ shipped I couldn't pass up this one - you can never have enough of those and I think I never saw a pic of that particular model on the forum:
    G-8000-8V:

The display has a nice light blue color which makes the contrast very good - similar to a few other models out there. The resin has a nice sparkling silver finish - not really glossy - more like the metallic finish of the GW-9200MS. The module is top-notch anyway - for those who don't know the G-8000 yet:
    module: 2958
    - world time
    - 24 hr stopwatch
    - 24 hr timer with progress beeper and repeat
    - 3 alarms (1 snooze) setable for day/date
    - current time in all modes (very important to me)
    - LED flasher (the LED is under the little plastic cover in the lower right corner of the watch face

And this is the G-8000 collection right now (there's still a few models out there I'd like to have but they become harder to get):

    cheers, Sedi

Nice example of a great model.

I can see one obvious gap in your collection - the glossy black one with a display like marmalade. I had one once, and remember sitting in the sun just after buying it... partly astonished that I had bought anything so glutinously delightful.

I wear mine quite often. I kind of took a chance on it because it was a good price. Now it gets a good bit of wrist time.

SHHHH, or the prices will go up! :)

Which one do you mean, the G-8000B-4 with orange display? I still want the glossy black one with green display - G-8000B-3 (I think it was the first G with the "Zombie Slayer" color scheme.

And the glossy red one with red mirror display (G-8000F-4) - that one looks great.

Thanks! Yes, the black one is great - very good contrast - one of the best actually - better than the G-7900 or other high-contrast models.

    Hi Flori,
height is about 13mm so it's not very chunky but I wouldn't describe it as "dressy" either .

Great look, great module and very cool color scheme. Congrats, Sedi.

And what a bargain! Lucky you!

    Cheers,
