    You can't beat the Riseman.

I'm into small watches. I hate large watches, period.
I used to look at the Riseman like it was an ugly, graceless piece of junk assembled using one of those Japanese megarobots parts. And it truly is one ugly and graceless piece of junk assembled using....etc etc.
The thing is tho that all this makes perfectly sense. It's all this that makes the watch.
So it happened about a week ago to try it on for the first time. The damn ugly thing was damn comfortable. The damn ugly thing had a price tag of Euro 199.00 but the lady made a mistake of putting a Euro 99.00 price tag on it and that's how much I've got it for.
The Riseman hasn't left my wrist since then. And a I have a 3 weeks old GW 5000 and a 10 days old G9000 sitting in the box brand new

For those of you who are wondering how big,how ugly, how bulky the Riseman may be,well,it's not.
I can tell you this is one of those watches can buy without going through a boring dealer search for a wrist test. Just buy it online and you will be unbelivably happy about it. Ok I hear you " I don't like big and graceless watches " .....well this thing will make you change the concept of big and graceless in a watch.

Go for it,it's the only watch you'll ever need

    99€s!? Bargain!

Yep, many see it as the best, all round Gshock. Not too big. For me the strap is excellent.

Make sure you do a search for and join the Riseman owners thread-lots of shared enthusiasm there for you to enjoy reading through.

LOL! I've done the same, been put off a watch and after I sampled it with some wrist time, fell for it hard. (Pathfinder, GW 7900, amongst others).

I actually think the Riseman is attractive in a utilitarian sense, like a military vehicle. Sure it won't "impress" some at the office but for 90% of life it would be the tool to have in most situations. Congrats on the great deal.

Re: You can't be the Riseman.

I had a Riseman for 6 months and loved it. Esp. since I live in the mountains. (Italy)
Cool for biking and hiking. And it fit great on my 16.5cm wrist (6.5 inches).
I ended up giving it to my girlfriend's younger 13 year old brother. He really loves it.
So I do see it occasionally. And between the BMX, skateboarding, down hill biking, skiing,
etc... it functions fine. But it looks like hell. The resin is all chewed up and scratched.
They crystal is ok somehow. Ciao.

Yeah, if Casio wanted to really test the durability, they should use young, athletic teenage boys. They destroy everything.
I'll try to get a pic. When he's in the ER : )
