Why are they called zombie slayers?
Any other models with similiar colour combinations?
It's because of the 'atomic green' color. Since the reasons for zombification are not yet completely known to mankind, one of the possible candidates might be increased radiation (some also claim outer space germs or meteor impacts) - therefore the name 'Zombie Slayer'. Some wanted to nickname it 'Chernobyl' but that was maybe considered too politically incorrect.
In fact, that thread may deserve a bump....
was going to ask that same question myself....
so, why then?
In France I saw a movie poster for a Zombie Movie. The poster was black, while the text was as green as the Zombie Slayer's face. I think there is only one Zombie Slayer, and that was the one first named like that, the DW-6900CS-1
