    Can anyone identify my Glycine

    Morning all,

I bought a Glycine Incursore (on a stainless steel bracelet) as it was a really clean, bold, large watch, very simple in design, and fitted my wrist perfectly. It was bought privately and didn't come with papers so wasn't sure of age but condition is great.

The problem is, I've tried researching the watch and ive not been able to find the EXACT model. I can find the range but they have either different number styles, 'Swiss Made' is positioned differently and mine doesn't have the Crown logo. Also, I've never seen an Incursore on a bracelet.

Can anyone help as Im starting to think this might be a bit of an uusual one.

Looking forward to hearing from you guys 😉👍

Not seeing any images. Have you considered the possibility of a counterfeit?

Here is my Incursore in PVD to give you an idea and compare. I bought it directly from Glycine. Yours doesnt have the Glycine logo for whatever reason and Swiss made imprint is different. Not sure its the picture but on yours it look like the watch face doesnt go all the way to the edges ? Im confused looking at it to be honest.

It certainly looks beaten up a bit. But Watchbox is selling a similar one. Not exactly the same as the one you posted, slightly updated, but no logo, 46 mm., date at 4 o'clock.

Nobody reps a Glycine. It would not be worth making a replica for the Chinese factories because sales of the gen are nothing compared to the ones they rep. PLUS, they can't get big money. Why would someone pay $200. for a rep when you can probably get a Gen for a little more? Glycine has many variations on their models because It appears that they are constantly making improvements and changes. What you see at the edge of the dial is simply the edge of the crystal not a dial that doesn't fit. I've seen many Glycines without the logos. Glycine bracelets are not that easy to find either. Certainly no replica factory would waste time and money making one. That watch looks great to me. I had an Incursore. That means "Commando" in Italian. It was a great watch that got little wrist time competing with two Airman models and a Combat Golden Eye and 33 other watches. But it was a very nice watch.
Wear it proudly. Glycine watches are amazing pieces at that price point and honestly, since buying my Bronze Airman, I haven't seen another watch I would want that can do more or be better looking.

It's very easy to take those scratches out with a Green 3M pad. or put it on leather for a while. Either way a Glycine looks great and people will admire it. Assuming you are around people that even care about a watch.

Type "Glycine model 3900" into Google. Do an image search.
