I've witnessed this phenomenon more than once and I can't understand it. We all know that prices on new Glycine Subs go up and down constantly, anywhere fro $300-$500 depending on the month and moon phase. Pre-Owned watches are another animal entirely, but you can usually scoop up a good deal around $300 or less. So why on earth would anyone spend north of $364.00 on a "mint" pre-owned Glycine Sub, when you can purchase the exact same watch, brand new from an authorized dealer, with full warranty for $359.00? The exact same watch! and it's listed just two positions down on Ebay! I've seen this over and over again and I just don't get it. Is it the drilled lug holes? I don't begrudge the seller making top dollar, good on ya! and he/she is going to get paid, but I just don't get the reasoning of the bidders.
What am I missing here?
