    Need some opinions/help

I am not all that familiar Glycine and I would appreciate your opinions. I just came upon this Combat auto and thought it would make a nice B-day present for my boys.
Aside from knowing that Glycine is now under the Invicta label, I can't say I know much else.
How do they hold up? accuracy? finish?

    Thanks in advance

Well, they use a Sellita-based movement, so Glycine watches are as accurate as other watches that use a Sellita movement (without modifications). I think older models used ETA movements but newer ones use Sellita because the tightening of ETA availability. And Sellita movements are cheaper to fix.Fit and finish is pretty good in my estimation, especially for the price. Solid build, unique looks (at least among their Airman and F104 models).

Despite the brouhaha around the merger with Invicta, I don't think it's changed much of their processes. Still being built in the same place, the logo change happened before the merger.

I think they are great watches for the price, assuming you can get them cheap through Gnomon or Glycine Direct or somewhere else. Definitely not worth MSRP.

I own two (Airman 18 GMT and Airman SST), and considering a third.

I have a Combat Sub and a Combat 6...both run within 2 seconds per day. No complaints, here.

Since Glycine market prices have come down, especially the eBay seller Glycine-direct and Costco, I am now a happy Glycine owner of several (6 actually), never having spent over $300USD for one, I feel at these prices they are a fantastic Swiss watch value.

I've owned 4. Never had any issues with any of them. I love Glycine and their history. It will make a good bday present
