$3,000 to Spend on a Watch

    Hello WUS,

So here is the deal. I am looking to buy a watch. My limit is 3k. Now I know this is a broad question that can be answered with all different types of options. However, Id like to know. If you have 3,000 to spend on a watch, what would you get? One caveat though, Ive already owned a Speedmaster. Great watch but never fell in love with it. okay go!

These days I'd probably go with Tudor Black Bay Blue

What's your use case? I'd try to squeak into a pre-owned AT, PO, Black Bay variant or Pelagos.

Do you want a dive watch, a chronograph, a pilots watch, a dress watch? That budget offers a lot of options, but it really helps to know the kind of watch you are seeking.

Not knowing the above, I would tend to agree with the prior comment about a pre-owned Omega AT. Great all around watch.

I’d also like to know, do pre owned watches count? There’s a lot more bang for your buck to be had in the used market.

I’d probably get a used Planet Ocean either 8500 or 2500 depending on your tastes, Or an aqua terra if you prefer that style.

I would say used Planet Ocean if a diver/sport model and something like a Nomos Club or Ludwig if something dressy or casual.

You could get four hundred Casio F91-W's.
