1st post Lookig for a new watch thoughts and ideas

I currently own a JLC Master grand ultra thin in rose
and an IWC Regulatour in rose
both sit on brown straps and have light dials

Im looking for ideas on a Dress watch either manual or automatic

    it must be
Thin say 10 mm or less
    39 to 42 mm
    Stainless steel
    leather strap with deployant clasp
have a full sweep second hand
and I would prefer an inhouse movement but its not a deal breaker

    must not be
    overly complicated
    a crono
more than one small complication not a deal breaker but nothing more than day or date

any help ideas and pics would be great

    Thanks in advance

Hmmmm.....the default recommendation in these cases tend to be a JLC Master Ultra Thin, which you already have. So, maybe a Blancpain Villeret?

The blue laquer version will make you weep if you see it in person, it's that pretty. The bad news is that it only comes in white gold...but I think it's well worth the upgrade. An SS ultra-slim usually runs in the the $8-10k range for BP and JLC anyway so why not add another $5-6k for gold; it will still be cheaper than anything from AP, Piaget or Patek

    That BP is sharp looking

I don't as a rule do white gold

But it is a sharp looking watch

    I don't do budgets
    That said
Stay away from special limited editions and the like and most everything else likely to come in ss is fair game

I'd go for something in the Glashütte Original Senator line.

    It's not that I shouldn't have one

    I should

I just chose not to set one

Believe me there are many many many watches that are out of range

    Including the 2 I own

That ALS is sweet for the most part
the red on the dial kind of ruins it for me

stainless steel preference cuts out a lot of choices, but fwiw, hermes dressage 1837 in steel (black or silver dial) , not sure how thick it is . . .
