    20 years of abuse

My wonderful Wife purchased this watch for me 20 years ago as an anniversary present. I put it on that day and don?t think I ever took it off until 5 days ago. This old watch has over 1000 parachute jumps from 13k-30k feet. It?s been in multiple fights in multiple countries and spent countless days in the bush. I?ve put it through hell! It? never been serviced (I honestly knew nothing about getting a watch serviced) and it really needs it. The crown will no longer screw down, and it loses 2-3 minutes per day. It has been replaced with a different watch but I?d still like to get the Marine Life back into good working order. Any suggestions where to send it? It wasn?t a very expensive watch but it has a lot of sentimental value.

    Thanks, T4

You could check with Jason at 'The Tick Tock Shop' in Santa Clara, CA. Be prepared to spend some Coin.

Send some more pictures! I love hearing about and seeing watches that have really been worn like that.

There's one you don't see every day. I wore a Seiko 6309 for most of my career. I got it serviced not long ago and it'll be good for another 30 years, just like yours will.

May you continue to have health to enjoy!
