    2066 automatic movement

    Hey Cats,
A question to ask, where does the 25 jewel Automatic Blancpain-Rayville AS 2066 movement stand in the worl of Swiss auto movements? Just wondring if my vintage Rodania find has a nice little motor in it.
If you can offer any info about this movement I would appreciate it.
    Peace,
    Preston

    Hi -

Generally speaking, the AS family are very nice movements indeed...the AS2066 is from the early 1970s.

Thank you John for your input. I asked because my other Rodania didn't have a movement as nice as this one and I find it interesting that what is really a very similar watch to the other Rodania from roughly the same year that they would use what is to me a much better movement.
    Peace,
