I guess I should begin by asking: will a Seiko VH31 movement fit in a case made for the NH35?

Looking for a 38mm (39mm max) stainless case for a VH31 movement. Where can one be found?

VH31 is smaller than the NH35 both in terms of diameter and the distance between the dial and crown stem axis. You might be able to make it fit with some custom spacers, but it's not a drop-in for a case that was designed to house an NH35.

I found a handful but nothing that wowed me. I picked up an Alexander James Pilot (Sinn 556 homage) instead. I would have liked to pick up a Charlie Paris Concordia which also houses a VH31 but by the time I made up my mind, the dial color I wanted was sold out.
