    40mm everyday dive watch?? Help!

Lend me your expertise! I am looking for a 40mm everyday watch that can pass for all occasions. From the ocean/pool to the office to a formal dinner. I am attempting to cut my collection down to just a few watches. Here is the criteria:

    40mm or under
    13mm thick or under
    Common lug width
    200m water resistance
    Screw down crown
    Sapphire crystal (preferably AR coated)
Good lume (preferably C3 and lumed bezel)
Bezel- can be either dive, countdown, or GMT
Movement- auto with good accuracy +-10sec
    (Preferably regulated)
Budget- $2,000 or under. Cheaper the better.

I know this may be impossible to find something that meets this criteria, but I figured I would try. This watch does not have to be a “DIVE” watch. If it meets all the requirements, I don’t care what category it is labeled under. Since it is going to be worn in most occasions, I would prefer a clean and simple dial while keeping legibility. I know if I went with no bezel I could find some great options, but a bezel is important to my everyday life.

Thanks in advance for your suggestions!

How about a Breitling Colt 41mm. I know that it seems like I’m disregarding your 40mm requirement, but Breitling usually has this measurement to the outside of the “rider” tabs - the bezel is effectively 40mm. And it’s 12.4mm thick with 200m WR. The lugs turn down and ends near the end of the case so wears smaller than size suggests. I have 44mm Colt and it feels/wears like a 41/42mm.

Looks great on bracelet and really great on straps.

    Not my pic:

I have no experience with it, but everything I've heard about the Monta Oceanking fits your criteria perfectly.

They are all basically the same, just change the colors, dial and hands. Over 50 variants.

Citizen NY series. Only thing lacking is the sapphire crystal. Great watch, great workhorse movement with the 8203 that has been used in countless watches since it first appeared on the market in the 1970's.
