    This or That

I'm looking to buy another sporty chrono and I narrowed them down to these 2 choices.

    Carl F. Bucherer Patravi

Very nice watch. This model also comes in blue or silver. I like the fact that these are rarely seen but still uncertain about the brand.

    Bremont Alt1-C

Love the brand and handled a few of their watches. I like the cream dial because the bulk of my collection are black dials.

    Your thoughts
    Regards,

    Richard

The Patravi is gorgeous, with the big date and the interesting subdials. The Bremont doesn't really do it for me, but I'm not a fan of cream dials. Completely my subjective opinion, I certainly appreciate that it's nice to have variety in the collection. (I love the copper dial of the Sinn in my profile pic, but that's another story.)

Yes, but of the two offered ... the Bucherer. I just can't see putting a fair chunk of money into a chrono that won't read out more than an hour.

I really like the two-sub dial design, so I would go for the Bremont.

Yeah, never undertood that either, still a social mystery to me. Should I say *this*, the black one?

I much prefer the Patravi. It is more unique and interesting. The Bremont seems pretty basic and uninspiring, especially given the price you'd pay for it. But why not look at Zenith? You can get a grey market Zenith for in the ballpark of what these would cost.
