    Accutron Gemini Eta 7750 freezed?!

My Accutron is completely dead. What to do? First it stopped couple of times during last weeks but since I use many watches I thought that doesen't have enough power. Now it just stopped and manual winding doesen't start it.

I live in a country that there is not official sales or mainteance of Accutron. Can I take it to some other watchmaker since it has quite popular and well known movement?

Any competent watchmaker should be able to service a 7750. They are the most common chronograph movement ever produced.

Any idea how expensive movement it is to service? This is not an old watch. Only couple of months.

Depends entirely on where you live. In the states, my watchmaker is inexpensive at $175, more typically the price would be around $350 and quotes as high as $500 are not unheard of. In India you can probably get a service done for less than $100.

Cost me 50€ at local watchmaker. Some loosen screw had jammed the movement.

I like to read good news. Glad to hear it worked out and that it didn't cost too much Miggo!
