Advice for a manual pilots chronograph.

Im on the hunt for a manual pilots chronograph and i have been looking at the CWC Pilots Mechanical Chronograph and i would buy it if it wasnt for the fixed lugs :(

Any advice for a watch that looks like the CWC but has normal spring bars so that i can change for leather traps.
A price of up to 1500$ is ok.

How about the Stowa 1938 Chronograph Classic? It's a little over your budget new though:

Search Poljot or Junkers. Russian manual movement (an old Swiss design licensed) and many dial designs available - maybe you will find something you like.

    Hi Jakelol,

There are plenty of options for fitting leather straps to fixed bars

    Foldover and glue
    Foldover and metal tab
Foldover and secure with strap screw
    Leather Nato
    Leather Zulu

So don't let that stop you getting the CWC
