    Advice needed!!!

Hi, I was recently at an AD panerai store and they had a Pam 111 r, the problem is it doesn't come with paper work or anything. What are your thoughts on buying a watch without paperwork? I'm assuming i won't get as much for it. Also what would be a good price for this model?
    Many thanks!!

It was taken in trade. They took it apart and authenticated the watch and serviced it.

What would be a good price? Would you buy without paperwork?

If it's a keeper then as long as it is authentic guaranteed then yes I'd buy it. Would want a reduced price for it due to lack of papers though.

Without papers you're talking a pretty steep discount in my mind. I mean, really it's used + no papers.

this should give you a good indication on their price.

maybe you could ask the AD for a certificate of authentication. if and when looking for resale, this could help.

If it is super clean, but with no papers .... I'd spring for $3,000 or less; however, I would demand that the AD give me a signed letter of authenticity.

Well if a Panerai AD okay'd it should be fine. But I'm always extra wary with used ETA PAMs. They're notoriously easy to fake.

For all intents and purposes this will not be an AD trade, it will be a second hand trade (even if the store itself is an AD for Panerai)
